Hikari (Light)
This zanpakuto is unique in that it is incapable of cutting. However it is argueably the most powerful zanpakuto.
It's shikai release command is: "Seigyo, Hikari" (control, Hikari)
In shikai it is capable of opening a small wormhole that is able to extend about 3"-4". This is long enough for it to get inside the skull (or another part of the body, but the skull is easiest) where it changes the nervous system into it's own particles, which are capable of funtioning the same way as nerves. It also then establishes a direct connection to a piece of hikari permanently inside the mind of the user giving the user access to all the knowledge and memories of the victim, as well as having complete control of that person. Any piece inside a person is constantly in shikai state, even if it was used in bankai. (bankai is essentially the same thing but it has the capability of moving matter between different realities, so from this one you could reach into another universe and bring somone back, or reach to another planet and bring someone back.)

It can also replace any flesh with itself allowing for regeneration of a very large scale.

this is one powerful zanpakuto central 46 would probably have it banned and its weilder imprisond for posseing a threat to the soul socity

The inherent problem with that is the user would be able to take control of the central 46 before the could even make a move to do so... if they wanted to. And knowing myself I would take them over before they even knew I had it.

i was just stating personaly i wouldnt care i hate central 46. but only someone like aizin would do that pluse theres the fact that zanpakuto powers dissapers when they reseals

Oops, sorry, I need to edit that post. Part of Hikari is inside the users head. That gives them control over the other peices. Any piece that is not connected to the sword directly (ie is in someone) is constatly in shikai, even if they were taken over while the zanpakuto was in bankai state.

And yes someone like Aizen would do that. There is a reason I consider myself to have multiple zanpakuto. I have a multisided personality, each one being unique. two are two sides of the same coin (hence the dual zanpakuto which can be released separately), whereas the one represented by hikari is simply a hunger for power. It isn't something I usually parade about but I do admit that I do crave power, in any form.
(Probably one of the reasons I adore zanpakuto, and if I had to relate myself to one of the characters on there it would be Aizen.)
