Byakubara (white rose)
It is the partner sword to Kokubara and is the second half of a third zanpakuto.
It's release command is Naoru to mahi, Byakubara. (heal and paralyze, Byakubara)

As the release command suggests the thorns secrete a paralytic posion, however it can also secrete a hormone that speeds up cell replication, thus speeding up the healing process, thus preventing the previous poison from being removed. However the user has the ability to control which or both of the fluids are secreted, thus they can heal small wounds without paralyzing their comrades.

similaraly to Kokubara the vines are under the complete control over the vines.

I'm still in the process of making the dual release shikai called Haiirobara no Kaze (Grey rose of the wind). It's a pretty cool one too.

I'm also trying to work on the physical manifestations of the zanpakuto's spirits.

by the way, did you ever say what you thought of Hikari?

I think it's a really cool concept.(most of your concepts rule in this area, it's kind of a given.) The drawing looked kinda... wilty, though.

What do you mean "wilty"? if you mean the direction they go it's just the way they go. I'll draw the unreleased state and it will probably make more sense.

And if I had to pick only one of my zanpakuto ( :'( ) to have this is the one I'd pick (though I'd use it to construct the other two as well ;)
